It is a determinant strategic aim of DUNAFERR Company Group in its present situation to effectively manage human resources and to handle labour as capital. One of the basic conditions of management is flexible labour structure. In favour of effective employment, the Company Group lays special stress upon the improvement of staff structure and upon the conscious preparation for privatisation. It is a speciality aim that the staff should fully meet the economic requirements in its quality, quantity and structure.
The adequately qualified labour force, the health, physical and mental state of the employees and the overall disposability of the labour force are of special importance for the company. According to this, education and health care form the tasks of human resource management. Development of the qualification structure of the employees and expanding their professional knowledge are important conditions of effective employment and the restructuring of labour structure according to management demands and requirements. This task is many-sided, it provides school system trainings, vocational basic training, retraining and further training.
We established DUNAFERR Regional Voluntary Mutual Additional Health Fund, which is a unique initiation in the region from the point of view of the recreation of the labour force, with respect to keeping the working ability of employees and to the importance of health care and prevention. Today the fund operates as the DUNAFERR branch of UNIQA Health Fund.
The Pension Fund was established for the employees as a part of the welfare of workers and the system of social benefits.
The support of social, health care and education purposive foundations, keeping the relationship with universities, as well as co-operation with higher-educational institutions play an important role in the company’s human processes.
